The Saga of Humanity

The enfolding darkness, pinpricks of light,
The diamond-fields of the Universe,
Untouchable, unreachable, unattainable,
Until now!

The buzz of humanity,
The hum of technology,
Shrouded in sheer silence.

Behold the Galactic Giants!
Behold The metallic Megaliths!
Behold the Titans of titanium!

Mini-suns burn hot, blue-white,
Powering these monsters with all their might.
Protected by energy, armed with lances of light,

Whales of War, Beasts of Battle,
Skirmishing serpents, and intercepting insects,
Weaving webs of destruction in their endless combat.

Hark! The clanging klaxons, and screaming sirens!
Hark! The wild wail of these wandering worlds!
Hark! The din of death, and the symphony of silence!
Hark! The tiny twitter of triumph!
Hark! The whisper of Humanity among the stars!
